Re: What did you do today?

So... the CRV has bared its teeth again. I can just about hear a very slight exhaust blow somewhere near the front of the system. As it keeps raining, I'm not getting much opportunity to find it. I've had the worlds worst cold for the last couple of weeks. Couldn't taste or smell anything but was ge...

Re: Greetings

Re: Best ever real world car?

Hopefully Greta Thunberg & Co aren't reading this.... Toyota Hilux Surf SSRX 3.0TD auto (Jap import with no Cat convertor). Bloody lovely. Cavernous interior. Made my twice-yearly jaunt down through France and Andorra into Spain and via Barcelona and Madrid to the Costa del Curry'n'Chips an abso...

Re: Wobland Spottage

Nice! I live not too far from you but with the exception of the Mini I've never seen any of those before. I think the Mini comes from your side of town. The Triumph is a Bromsgrove (ish) car. The Oxford and Singer both belong to the same chap, nearer Kidderminster town centre. The Singer is the new...

Re: What did you do today?

Not today, but yesterday's work was to deliver this family heirloom back to its dry garage. IMG_20200118_153921.jpg Some dodgy looking fella was staring at me so I said hello just to be polite in case he tried to rob me. This is Kidderminster after all. Turns out he had a Marina and a nice one too ...

I'd only owned it 6 hours when that pic was taken last September. It's been washed once since then

I think they hoped it would be appealing in a Cortina 2000E or Cavalier GL kinda way

I was very brave. Despite the wind, rain and hail, I left the shelter of Costa Coffee to get a rear view of the Oxford.
