Re: United States of GRIZZ - Just how random do you want it?
Love the signwriting on the van, I guess it may disappear though. Looks like a good build.

Re: United States of GRIZZ - Just how random do you want it?
Very entertaining, I am now reminded that I have some old licence plates etc that need to be put up in my garage before my Impala comes home, not that I know when that will be. I shall have to summon my odd job man forthwith. Actually just remembered he's coming here on Monday to put up two LED ligh...

Re: Found pics
So did I, mainly because it was free as my dad (I think) liberated it from the shop he worked in. I wore it to school which was against the uniform rules but I didn't care as it kept me warm.

Re: EBay Finds
That will cost probably into six figures to restore properly and be worth around 50k when it's done. It was on an Edmonds show that the guy got seriously hurt when doing a leap at I think Santa Pod in an Interceptor, it just fell apart on landing.

Re: The Triumph Mayflower.
My Anglia has its original plate and I have no intention of selling the number, indeed I really should make it non-transferable. How is that done? (Just curious) No idea I'm afraid, I haven't looked into it yet especially as no doubt it means dealing with the DVLA etc etc. They'd probably want to k...

Re: The Triumph Mayflower.
My old RHD 58 Chevy Belair was an original import and was registered as VXO9, it was always (and still is) referred to as 'VXO'. Sadly a few years ago its then owner took the plate off so VXO lost its identity. At least he put the plate on a GMC truck. My Anglia has its original plate and I have no ...

Re: The Triumph Mayflower.
Nice Mayflower AD, now you'll need to seek out a model of one in black. I have one, it was made by Lansdowne some years ago now so should be fairly easy to find online.

Re: Found pics
My brother found some old photos whilst sorting stuff out prior to a house move. My dad's new Mk3 Cortina 1600L. I did the specification: red, 2-door, sports wheels, radio. Never saw another one like it. https://i.postimg.cc/W4cN3rFS/Dad_s_Mk3_Cortina_1600L.jpg Cat on a hot tin roof of my infamous b...

Re: Place related car names
I found out today that years and years ago there was a Standard Rhyl.
