Re: United States of GRIZZ - Just how random do you want it?
Nice meet, I recognise some of the vehicles bearing in mind I used to live not that faraway in Bexleyheath. I know Ricky, please tell him that Paul with the black '59 Impala says hi. The Mk1 Zephyr estate is my mate Kev who has his workshop at Cliffe, Zodiac Motor Services. Pretty Anglia, quite an e...

Re: Found pics
I found one of those 57's in a scrapyard here years ago, may have been the legendary one in Norfolk whose name is currently missing from my ancient memory. The 235 is the Blue Flame six, I had one in my first American car back in 1976 which was a RHD '59 Impala Sport Sedan aka 'flat top' reg WXT4. I...

Re: Found pics
Back in the 80s I had a succession of Vauxhalls as runabouts, I think the first was a slightly* ratty looking J-reg white/rust/filler FD Victor 2000 estate bought for 100 quid from my mate's ex-RAF Bomber Command stepdad. It was very dependable and I drove it for about two years without any hiccups....

Re: Found pics
I know most on here will be aware of it, but I just love any chance to show this picture; 1238E408-71A0-48BC-A2C5-30DDDEA49E48.png Now I don’t know what they were smoking in Luton when someone suggested a V8 PC Cresta , after all there was acres of room under the bonnet and they already used the 2 ...

My initial thought is that it could be an AMC Ambassador, especially as they were available in RHD.mercrocker wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2024 4:03 pm Early Haflinger in that top pic I think but I can't work out what the Yank is....might be Ford/Lincoln/Mercury but nothing seems to match!

I wonder if my Impala made the transporter into a lardy lardy? Back in November 2014 this was the loading up prior to transporting the old gasser from Erith near the Dartford Tunnel to a friend's house in Bedfordshire where it was to be stored as I was moving up country and the garage was a bit too ...

Note how, in few short years, men had gone from being properly attired to looking like one of the Rubettes. The guy above that last dude (brown Plymouth Duster I think it is) looks exactly like my 1972 Form Tutor at school. He had a shitbox 1100, though.... Grandma's Sport Fury is I believe the sam...
