Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again

Been out to a gig tonight and remembered to take a pic of the hotchkiss number plate when I got back as it was actually dark. Last time I was out in the RCZ in the dark it blew a headlight bulb and has done it again tonight. Fucking Motaquip bulbs are a right load of shite. Hotchkiss night.jpg hotch...

Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again

Got the other spring and the tyres all sorted this morning. I have got to change the o/s front shock though as it wasn't happy being disturbed and has leaked all it's oil out. I will ring introcar again on Monday and see what is available. Next job was making a start on the hearse axle. Not a bad jo...

Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again

The spring tool arrived today so I made a start on the first spring and started fitting 4 new tyres. The tyres are easy enough but the springs are a bit of a bugger getting the broken one out as the 4 studs wouldn't fit past the spring to lock into the base plate. 452632788_10211305565351852_1371435...

Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again

Now do I chuck the old sphere's in the scrap or bury them in the garden for someone to dig up in 20 odd years and call out the bomb squad. Well if they are pukka ones that haven't popped isn't the done thing to recharge the (because triple diaphragm)? They are readily available and only about 60 qu...

Re: EBay Finds

One for SiC going under the hammer next week at SWVA down in Poole. It has a 10k plus estimate so will be really interesting to see what sort of prices they make. SWVA are not known for getting good money so there could be a bargain to be had but I suspect there will be a very high percentage of no ...

Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again

As the weather is supposed to turn to real shit I decided to get the Bentley on the ramp today and make a start. The main brake sphere's were pretty straightforward just a bastard to get them undone, The brake light now goes out a lot quicker and stays off for 30 odd pumps of the brake as they shoul...

Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again

That is a nice little thing, there are plenty of Panhard specials out there. The main parts guy in Paris has got most of them. He even has a Panhard helicopter hanging from the ceiling. In other news I have finally driven the Hotchkiss this afternoon and the list of stuff I need to sort is getting l...

Re: Shitely

Approximately 620 mile for me to do that from mine to Darlington then Somerset and back home. I could do it better mileage working out if I knew where in Darlington and where in Somerset. If you want to drop me a message then feel free. I may be able to help out cheaper than Shiply. Have GIT insura...

It is indeed hopefully it will be of better quality than the Spanish built axle as it was an alighnment fault on the axle casing causing the bearings to fail.

Re: Shitely

I am trying shiply but the cheapest so far is 500 quid so I would rather drive up myself than pay that. Thanks for the offer Paul but that is even further away.
