Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again
The bloody DVLA are being their usual helpful selves and want the Hotchkiss inspected again. God knows why when I sent photos of it with the steering wheel etc back in. Anyway it has given me a chance to get it out of the workshop and drive round the yard. In even better news the fucking rover has g...

Re: What did you do today?
I would look carefully at the servo pipe work. I had a problem with one the other week that when the pipe was off it fell into a coolant drain tub and got a little water inside. That was enough to fuck up the one way valve. Blowing it through with compressed air really buggered it up so I had to cha...

Re: Wobland Spottage
As it is the last day of my holiday I thought of you lot and had a little wander around the hotel. Not much tat but a few scruffy examples for your viewing pleasure. Back to the bar now so that's your lot. IMG_20240420_111712~2.jpg IMG_20240420_111727~2.jpg IMG_20240420_114617~2.jpg IMG_20240420_114...

Re: Eddie Honda's wheels of steel (and occasionally alloy)
Talking of the mighty Honda Jazz what is the steering like on yours ? The one I have just bought doesn't seem right as it doesn't self center and you have to physically correct it to keep it straight. I did pop the track rod ends off to check the struts move freely and can see why the smacking them ...

Re: Sics Consolidated Faded Moderns Thread - 2003 E320 & 2006 Golf Mk5 GTI
Yeah nah. I want to sort this properly. Airbags are a useful thing to have when it all goes a bit pear shaped. They also probably won't work properly as they age. I think they are supposed to be replaced at 10 years or something like that. Old Volvo's had a sticker in the door post saying the expir...

Re: EBay Finds
Is there a reason for your bitterness? Did one run over a member of your tribe in Gib. after it fell off the the sloping roof? Obviously the bitterness is just a natural reaction to the terminally dull and incredibly shit "vehicle" that is an air cooled VW. There is only one other blue ai...

Re: EBay Finds
This AI bollocks that is helping to drive the final nail in the coffin for ebay really is a waste of time. When I did the listing for the Rover it gives you an option of using your own description or an AI one. The AI was total bollocks, but I suspect it would get more interest as it would be promot...

Nowt wrong with Mannol, oil is oil it all has to be made to spec. The expensive stuff isn't really any better and if you change it regular there is no need for anything fancy.
