I got one of those on Eddie's recommendation, it's only used a few times a year but is well worthwhile having.

MoT pass for the MGB but they still have it to look into the 'flickering' oil pressure when warm. Normally it's steady at 65-70 but has recently started rapidly flicking between 75 and 80. I suspect a stuck oil pressure relief valve but am no expert. It's 50 years old now so is entitled to have a b...

We've got a 1.6 diesel one and are very happy with it.
We've only had to remove the seats a couple of times during Uni moves.
It'll cruise at 85mph 5 up and normally gives around 55mpg. Apart from a clutch cylinder failing it's been very reliable over the 6 or 7 years since we bought it.

Re: Electric vehicles, pros and cons. Have your say.
Some of it will be down to their accounting policies, for example how they allocate R&D costs etc. to vehicles and over what time frame. The key is cashflow, as Boeing is now finding out for a different reason. It's more complicated than that but this should be enough to trigger a nap for Mario....

The EU is one thing given the Commission dictats but I expect the US shareholders to push back hard on their domestic manufacturers.

You have to love crap ideas like hub centre steering. The amount of effort burned on solving a problem that doesn't exist. cf bloody wankel engines. But it's not a crap idea. Telescopic forks are a shit idea. The reason shit ideas survive despite everything is bloody conservative customers and bean...
