Re: What did you do today?

You probably couldn't even get a half decent Fiesta for what I paid for the A8.

Up to now, I've been so lucky with the other 3 cars in fleet, thankfully.

Re: What did you do today?

Took the front off the A8 last night to see where the coolant was coming from and I identified that the radiator is borked. Coolant is weeping out all along the bottom. I ordered a new one from Autodoc and loosely put the car back together. 20240502_185919.jpg I can't find any videos on how to put t...

Re: What did you do today?

An MOT pass for the Saab, was on the ramp for about 25 minutes and they called me saying it was ready. I keep meaning to sell this but I'm going to hold off as it's been a brilliant car. Re: What did you do today?

Speaking of brakes, I replaced the OSR caliper on the A8 today. Quality brands are about £300, so hopefully this one at £94 will last at least a wee while. Old one was pissing out fluid from the back of the piston: 20240420_161401.jpg Horrible, fiddly job with several extra software steps. Thankfull...

Re: What did you do today?

I got around to cleaning and then selling my late dad's car. 20240417_111434.jpg I got £9900 for it via Arnold Clark, no hassle at all and should be in my mums bank account by Friday. Its just a car to us but when my mum saw the red colour of it through the frosted glass it reminded her of my dad be...

Re: What did you do today?

There was a green rubber bumper Midget that came into Campbells of Armadale today. It looked long dead but fairly intact.

Certainly don't do it with any medical symptoms you may have - everything points to imminent death.
Aye that's one thing I have never done!

Cars though, different issue :?

Re: What did you do today?

I'm just nae sure about Mannol. I've been using it in all my cars for a few years now, I know its made in Lithuania by a German company but it has to be cheap for a reason surely? I filled the A8 with it when I changed the oil a few days ago, but I'm dropping it out again over the weekend in favour...
