I make do with the blue tooth FM thing and I'm in the third car in a row with a 6 cd changer built in which serves as a good back up.

Check the flexi hoses maybe

Failing that, I would change the master cylinder. Doesn't have to be visibly leaking for the seals to be fucked.

Been watching a bloke who uses one on YouTube, he puts a straight edge down as a guide then runs along it with the torch, looks to get nice straight cuts. That's the way I did it. Could have cut the top of the uprights off.
