Funny, I'd call 25mpg from a modern 1.8 fucking terrible. Funny cos they were all 1.6 litre, both mitsubishi and campro versions, and i used mine as private cabs getting around 33mpg round the doors. Can imagine the auto version getting 25mpg though ETA other markets got larger engine, but not here...

A bloke who used to work for me had a Proton Impian that wasn't ex-Humberside Police or ex-Proton demo, someone actually bought one. Until then I'd never seen one in the metal. It went well for a porridge car but was unrefined and shit on fuel. I bought 2 Proton Impians. They were a bit underpowere...
