Re: Wobland Spottage

Panther Rio....Dollop-of-shite in a party frock with Granny's eyes. Nice to see, though, I don't think I've clapped eyes on one since the 1975 Motor Show.

Serendipity indeed....I usually find stuff like that after I have paid retail for it.

Re: What did you do today?

I was like that until I got a tape dispenser. Having a 3lb weight on the end of the tape also dissuades me from hurling it at the sideboard.

Re: I seem to of done something stupid yet again

Always feel that P5s are something to be enjoyed from afar. Lovely old things but not for me. A mate, whose credentials with old motors pre-date mine - when I was swanning about in Mk2 Grannies in the 90s he was commuting in a Mk1 Consul - ended up with a nice but utterly doomed 3 Litre Coupe. It ne...

Admittedly, Morris had a bigger version...

Re: Austin A70 Hampshire

I have a feeling I saw that particular A70 out across the New Forest one evening a few years back, certainly didn't think there were any in this vicinity so maybe he had a holiday down this way.

Re: Austin A70 Hampshire

Well done, AD....The Hampshire is richly deserving of such a prize, after all you have saved two cars not just one and my experience of Austin Clubs tells me that the only other candidate would not for a moment begrudge you the award. Crich is a fantastic backdrop for cars of this era, they look ext...

Re: Found pics

There is a non-Detroit onslaught hareing down the beach towards that '59 Skyliner too! Couple of Studes and a Nash/Rambler. These are great photos, not just for the cars of course but the people and the buildings as well as that great outdoors feel you always get in North America. Probably well wort...
