Re: Wobland Spottage

They really are the most horrid things, to be honest.....The cab tapers to a point of uncomfortable intimacy (always assuming there is actually a passenger seat), 45 mph sounds like a knackered Bedford CF doing 85 with a full load of unsecured scrap metal and the driving seat always reminded me of t...

Re: New car

Like so much of the 21st century, I seem to have blinked and missed these. There is a certain appeal to a magazine car, though....Hope you can find the bits you need!

Re: 1975 scrapyard video.

I think it was That's Life, along with a dog that said sausages, a bucktoothed old hag and some old geezer gurning behind a rubber plant. Fuck me, no wonder I went out a lot in the Seventies. Good job beer was only 28p a pint. As Sheddy says, though, still better than the cuntfest on there now.....

Re: What did you do today?

What a factory does works in a flow-production cost-conscious large scale operation. If we are paying for skilled labour at a more artisan level then yes, find a better way! This includes finding out how water ingress occurs and stopping that happening again, or at least routing acceptable ingress a...

Re: What did you do today?

Got my T25 back this morning.....Eye-watering bill, but 45 hours of bodyshop labour never going to be cheap I suppose. Three separate areas were repaired - side window aperture and associated panelwork, bottom right hand corner of engine bay - that had been ominously bubbling up the seams for a coup...
