Re: Austin A55 Cambridge
This is a great thread and a fantastic history of the car and ex owner. It is great to see it in very good hands and I look forward to updates. I really like Cambridges although I have never owned one, I would be tempted by an A60 estate or an early big fin farina as my Dad had one before I was born...

Re: Stellantis. Is it the 21st century global British Leyland?

Re: Are you still a car enthusiast?
Angrydicky could have pretty much written my reply, I am probably car obsessed but with cars most people do not consider enthusiasts cars. I have no interest in modern cars or much after the mid eighties. Never had an interest in Porsche or Ferrari but get very excited over Cortina’s, Granada’s, Jag...

Re: My slightly knackered old cars
That Cortina looks very nice. They do look better with a black grill but the colour coded grill is original on the Crusader so if you do change it keep the blue grill for when you sell. Black bumpers and window trim are also original on two tone Crusaders. Single colour Crusaders had chrome bumpers ...

Re: What did you do today?
You guys really know how to suffer car wise don't you. It's the first time I've heard of having to shovel snow out of a car. I had a mini moke for a 24 mile round trip to work 6 days a week for over a year and the side screens were knackered so I dug the snow out of the foot wells and off the seats...

Hello and Happy New Year
Hi all, I have chosen my username based on my budget and a TV programme where the star was a Cortina estate. I have a selection of old sheds but if I was to only have one car to cover all my needs it would be a Cortina estate.
