Not seen one EV in Morocco, nor a charging point anywhere.

Re: Wobland Spottage

I have so far liked Morocco. Fes is OK but the south, Mergouza and Ait Ben Haddou, are excellent, great roads, cheap and good hotels, cheap foot, petrol practically the same price everywhere, and ferries reasonably priced. For me Almeria port is just 2½ hours away, a bit further for anyone from the UK

Re: Wobland Spottage

In another tourist hotspot today (Ait Ben Haddou). Nice walk and great views, but liked these two sights best.

Rode a Quasar many years ago when my brother had one in at his bike shop. Not dissimilar to a modern maxi scooter, but with a rattly roof

Re: Wobland Spottage

Just struck me that in nearly 1,500 kms of riding in Morocco, I've not seen a single car scrap yard.

Bike night at Frank’s Motorcycles in Essex. Decent turn out and rain on the way home. Perfect ;)
Where in Essex is that?

Re: Wobland Spottage

I think the tourism in this town makes it seem quite wealthy. Loads of off road bikers here from France, Spain and Italy, all coming to ride in the Sahara on their bikes or rentals. There are lots of quad, 4x4 and camel rentals places, lots of cafes, hotels and camping sites. It's got a lot more goi...

Re: Wobland Spottage

Wonder what the story is behind this? Off the road south of Mergouza.

There is a total lack of old cars in this (seemingly wealthy) town.
