We had a 1987 2.0 petrol back in 1993 as bike transporter when racing. I have so far liked Morocco. Fes is OK but the south, Mergouza and Ait Ben Haddou, are excellent, great roads, cheap and good hotels, cheap foot, petrol practically the same price everywhere, and ferries reasonably priced. For me Almeria port is just 2½ hours away, a bit further for anyone from the UK
