Just as an FYI.
After shipping getting ridiculously expensive from rockauto and summit for my Buick Roadmaster and Mercury Grand Marquis I now just get most stuff from AutoDoc.
Anything I can't get from them I have to get from RA but only under difference.

Speaking of belts, just don't start it up with the steering on full lock otherwise it's belt jumpy offy/snappy snappy time followed engine rebuild due to the PAS being driven off a camshaft rather than the crank pulley

Afaik they vacuum it and see if it holds a vacuum (i.e. no leaks). If it does leak they'll stop there as not legal to fill a leaky system. They then put the refrigerant in and see if it works. I imagine they'll leave the gas in at this point if it doesn't work, otherwise they'll have to pay for gas...
