Envious, looks like too much potential fun there

I picked up a dead Piaggio x9 500 today. Looks like many have tried to get it running, none have succeeded. Cranks over evenly,mrildno spark. Hmm.
Anyone here knows these, sufficiently to point out any weakness’ pls?

Dug the tattier ZZR 1100 out for its pre booked annual, on Friday. Started first time, warmed as normal, moved it out to the verge. Then popped back indoors for jacket, lid, gloves etc. Would the bugger start? I subsequently added jump box( not easy) more fuel (tap working fine) but nada. Full choke...

He settled, in full, today. That ends the process.

The car is now with another body shop - who seem to be acting properly! I’ll be keeping a close eye.

Should be ready for the boss in time for Spring. Hopefully
