That part number (7513957) on RealOEM says it's superseded in 2006. So it could possibly be original. I'd thought it would have BMW written on it though?

Not had a proper look yet but I'll stick that hose on my hand vacuum pump and see if it holds a vacuum. I think that hose also supplies the charcoal canister valve and brake booster.
