Re: Sics Consolidated Faded Moderns Thread - 2006 Golf Mk5 GTI & 2004 BMW Z4 2.2

One of my mates reckons I hate money.

That's not true. I just seem to have a perverse satisfaction of setting fire to it with cars.

Anyway I have another car arriving tomorrow. Seller is very kindly delivering it for me.

And yes it has plenty of broken bits to be fixed.

Re: What did you do today?

Saw this on the side of the road near home. Cut out on the junction that goes onto a busy 40mph road. Exactly the same place my Spitfire did the same. Chap reckoned it was the fan belt that was loose and it got too hot. Tbh it was pretty floppy. He didn't have many tools on hand as left them in his ...

Re: Sics Consolidated Faded Moderns Thread - 2006 Golf Mk5 GTI & 2004 BMW Z4 2.2

While it's not an MOT failure to have the interior fan broken, I want to use the car this weekend and a broken fan isn't great if you want the roof down. Re: Advice required on selling Bruvvers modern.

Tbh I'd try AT and eBay. Probably eBay over AT as a lot cheaper for adverts.
If it doesn't sell in the first few weeks that the advert is live, then WBAC it.

Re: Advice required on selling Bruvvers modern.

Try asking the ford main dealer for service history. Many dealers now have all the history as "digital". I.e. you don't get paperwork.

Went into Bristol centre to have a meal with colleagues. Departed the bus early because I spotted this rig on the way in.  PXL_20240508_171804822.jpg PXL_20240508_171813196.jpg PXL_20240508_171817826.jpg PXL_20240508_171829354.jpg PXL_20240508_171853985.jpg Edit: quick Google bought this up from 19...

I've been dailying this into Bristol centre this week for work as the weather has been so fantastic.  https://autoshite.com/uploads/monthly_2024_05/PXL_20240509_105049068.jpg.0b86e162c8d6cebab7ddb847deae0e44.jpg It was less fantastic over the weekend though so it's absolutely filthy.
