How difficult would it be (for you) to make something with a chip on it do to the same as the regulator box. New ones regularly give grief as obviously they are made by the lowest bidder rather than the one who will give a warranty..

It still amazes me how easily you can get bits of materials and parts over there! That exhaust looks very thick wall, I doubt you could have bought one section of a pattern one for what they cost!

Oil and filter change in the Maverick done tonight in readiness for the holiday. No drama and I didn't end up covered in oil for a change.

Better than dying though surely What about a sudden loss of control caused by a tyre dropping off the rim/ brake or suspension failure and the vehicle swerving into passing traffic doing 70mph? I doubt most people would slow to a few mph as that would seem to be just as dangerous as being stationar...

There been a couple of videos posted in the past of people on the M25 trying to do exactly that and ending up running on the brake disc, sparks everywhere and obviously not fully in control. Better advice would be smart* motorways are dangerous

A serious tidy of all the cables and wiring, a bit of a tweek to the head stock angle, some longer forks and that wouldn't look bad at all, its a damn sight better factory effort looking like a custom than most hipsters make in trying to turn things into a cafe racers...
