I havnt but id never say never :roll: I have already decided to go EFI on fuelling the shite one I once agreed with keeping everything as is but I now think its more important to keep it on the road :mrgreen: As long as it has a period correct feel I think modern touches are ok to make it more usea...

Yep I've got an adaptor to run my 18v lithium batteries in my old nicad kit, with a bit of file action it also fits the 14.4v range too, not burned anything out yet either. The smaller lithium packs are very cheap used but well up to running the old gear, don't forget when they were new 2.0ah would ...

No point putting fully synthetic in that save it for the newer one, a 5/30 or 10/40 semi synthetic is fine

I would be amazed if that Fiesta isn't electronic ignition already. Plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm are the likely suspects but spray damp sealer over everything first.

I picked a DeWalt cordless recip saw out of the bin last week, the positive wire from the battery holder to the switch had burned out, very easy fix, just waiting on some high current silicon covered wiring as I don't have anything heavy enough duty.
