I agree entirely, I cannot stand 'faults' or lights on the dash. If they are fixable, then they MUST be fixed asap! Bring back the good old days of idiot lights that tell you when your fan belts broken or oil pressure lights to tell you the engine needs a drink of Mr Duckhams finest.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
Wet and dry will leave it dull, smooth and uniform (that's the aim) so the compound is to restore the shine. Without the last step, it will be smooth but dull. But, like I said, can paint is very thin so EXTREMELY easy to go right through. If in doubt, go straight to compound and be gentle and patie...

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
I'd wet and dry it BEFORE it fully cures, say three days and then polish it with a machine (I have two so easy for me to say) but be careful as spraycans paint is very thin and it's really easy to go right through it.

Spoke (Via text) and I was wrong, loads of developments are going on with Jaguar. Good to hear.

Re: Building the Leg End. The Old Jag thread.
Makes me very sad. Number one son says there's nothing interesting re Jaguar, plenty of new RR products though... I love my XJ (when it's a poop free zone) and still contemplate new wings and vents. I don't want any of the newer models as they seem to lack... Jaguarness! My sons XF - R is a fantasti...

That's a shame, 350 LC was one of the best/most fun bikes I ever owned. Rag the shit out of them and they just smile and come back for more...
Though I did have one that threw a piston out through the exhaust, but it still made it home. Noisy, down on power and very smokey, but it made it!

Re: What did you do today?
Taxed the Merc while I was waiting for the dog's chicken breasts to cook (air fryer, only the best for my two twats!) £415! I can't remember what it was last year but it was a lot less than that! I seem to recall £365 or thereabouts I've used the Merc today as I think I should get some joy out of my...

Re: What did you do today?
A garage I used to work at had an armoured gun (like a tank, but apparently, not a tank!) and we took it out a few times, that ran on any crap (multifuel I believe) I was never allowed to drive it but I sat in the top bit and shouted like I knew what the fuck I was doing! I took Kyle out in it one d...
