A lot of folks complain about the various gearboxes used today, My Jag has the ZF 6 speed thing and I find it utterly delightful! It's smooth, seamless and responsive. I have the exact same timing light, mine was gifted to me by my wife Grandfather, who, at 93 had decided he no longer was likely to do his own wrenching!
