Re: What did you do today?

Had a small scratch low down on the passenger's side just in front of the wheel arch. It hadn't gone thru to the colour so I touched in (oo-er!) with a fine brush and left it to dry. Later, I got the polish out and wore my arm out polishing it smooth. For once in my life, I appear to have done a ful...

Re: What did you do today?

Lay on the sofa and groaned... lots.

Got up about 5:00 (i.e. an hour ago) and fed the dogs all the goodies I'd bought to have for my dinner. I am so sick of being, er, sick it's extremely tedious.

Re: Two wheels good.

I was ONCE the monkey on a sidecar outfit which was being tested for upcoming races while at Cadwell Park. I have never been so terrified in my life! I was supposed to hang off on the bends etc but instead, I just lay on the bed bit and held on to everything solid. I was so scared my willy climbed b...

Re: What did you do today?

I took the dogs to the park today, mainly to meet up with a mate I've not seen for a few weeks. He had a big Nissan truck thing on a lease which was collected (end of the lease) on Monday. I wanted to see his new car. Now his truck was the tidiest thing on the planet, never used or abused, no scuffs...

Re: What did you do today?

Got an e-mail from the AA for my car insurance, inviting me to renew. Could I open the attachments? Could I fuck! Every time I tried it crashed my laptop or opened endless pages that I couldn't stop. I got a tad annoyed! In high dudgeon, I phoned them and was getting more and more irate with every r...

Re: What did you do today?

I did get the car back, un-repaired. CV19 holding up parts deliveries apparently. Though I'm sure he said last week that they had all been delivered even though he only enquired... I like the guy no end and he does good work but every time he does work on anyone's car he does this delaying thing as ...

Re: What did you do today?

Car has gone to see Pete to have its new brakes fitted. Discs and pads but as he drove me home, he informed me the new brakes haven't turned up...

Expect to NOT get a repaired car back today... tomorrow?

Re: What did you do today?

At last, something I can feel superior to Phil about! I can paint... brilliantly! Well okay, I could 10 years ago and I loved painting cars, spent a fortune on spray guns and a big eff off compressor, also a wind-powered D.A. and a variety of polishers etc. I've even got a spray gun for tiny spots a...

Re: What did you do today?

Today Mathew, I have waxed and then high gloss sealed my car! I am now officially dead... or at the very least, dying. This is all the stuff my neighbour gave me and I must say, blood good it is too. Unlike my neighbour who sat on my wall and watched as I struggled with wax etc. I dd suggest he shou...

Re: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain

I do hope you know I was joking? If you're throwing them away (as they are utter rubbish - must be, the master craftsman that is me says so) throw them my way :)
