Re: Any HDI fondlers provide help?

XUD's create a lot more heat in the head, because IDI and pre combustion chamber. DI's don't run as hot. The main reason Darren Lobb went away from them and did what he did was the excess heat and, not being able to get rid of it. Thread drift FAO Scruffy, did you see he has revived his channel and...

Re: Any HDI fondlers provide help?

I can drive From mine to derby in the van and barely gets over 70 on guage. Never gets to halfway either. Do they do summer and winter stats? Having the heater on flat out is very effective at keeping temps down as it's a small radiator after all (with high air flow). I know when taking XUD's out o...

BMW has gone. Thankfully, the original owner wanted it back, so, no need to sell to the public.

Re: What did you do today?

Not today, happened Friday but, I was on the piss all weekend so, no report. In a fit of rage about the Granvia being a cock, I went in for a low cost, high liability car. Step forward, the cheapest E90 330D available anywhere. It's a bit rough round the gills but, by fuck is it quick. Remapped by t...

I know scruffy from old.
We were on the same forum when boosting XUD's was the norm.

Re: What did you do today?

I've actually pulled my finger out, got a decent size unit, moved one of the 205's up there and, ripped the engine out of it. Good times. I definitely lost my car fixing mojo when the 508D shat itself, after all I'd done do it. All my spare time was spent on that for 7-8 months and, the engine blew ...

Re: What did you do today?

As often is said, at least they race only the clapt out crap cars. https://autoshite.com/uploads/monthly_2023_03/Screenshot_20230304_140732_Facebook.jpg.4f2dc39e54b7cc052debe025b93ca400.jpg I saw that on the M4, heading east near Newbury/Reading way yesterday morning. Couldn't work out what it was,...

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

It is indeed an IP22 model, 12v/15A single output. VE_BlueSmart_IP22_12V_15A.jpg Bought for £112.75, shipped by Amazon, sold by "Nomadic Leisure" £110. (The extra £2.75 is the difference between UK and Irish VAT.) You got a link please? That's almost £60 cheaper than I've seen. Victron En...
