Hello all!
Maybe it's time I actually post here!
Nothing much automobile related has happened here for a while except acquiring my third 850.
It's a TDI Manual estate, in basically ideal trim for me, it's had all of the usual 850 upgrades like 302mm brakes and V70 tail lights.
It's also remapped, I don't know the actual power output but it's adequate.
At some point I'll be getting dad's old one (on the right) ready to sell, but I'm in no great hurry.
I'll be working on getting my 205 ready for the MOT in the next few months once it's less fucking freezing in my unit too.

Evening Reb.
I know when I used to work at the ovloV garage I always thought a manual TDI was the best spec car of the lot. Went well & used bugger all fuel. Ideal for a brick.

Re: Wrong Wheel Drive Volvos
Nothing much of note to add even most of a year later.
Dad's 850 left the building to be passed around various people, it is currently taxed and MOT'd which is nice to see.
The estate has been absolutely flawless, the only money it's asked for was for a pair of new tyres after I destroyed the fronts doing massive burnouts. It passed the MOT the other week after failing on the handbrake being out of adjustment.
The 205 is still languishing in the unit because I simply have had no fucks to give. Well, actually, I've got most of the work done and it just needs a couple of daft little things now. I'm not MOTing it til spring at this point though so I'm in no rush at all.
I may have been eyeing up some go faster bits for the 850, even though it's already fast enough to get me into some serious trouble, either with the law or a poorly placed tree. I have so far managed to not run out of talent though, which is impressive really given how I drive it.
Also on the list is something with less wheels and more power to weight. I probably need to calm down a bit before I do that though.

There's a reason posh twats drive them, they'll save your life at the same time as saving themselves.
(I have been accused of being a posh twat many a time, I can assure you I'm not* really)
