ST1100, much better than those BMWs you've got.
Only thing I don't like about the Pan is how the pegs angle your knees out to clear the engine. That twist in your knees annoys my manky right leg after an hour or so. Oh & the standard screen is crap as it directs the wind in my eyes so I can't ride with my visor up over 20mph.
Looks like it's had the standard rotten exhaust replaced, is the top of the swingarm up near the pivot good? that's where they always rot.

It's always on top they rot, so can be a bugger to see.

Mine displayed 145mph once, was weaving like a bastard though & got worse as I tried to slow down. I had to open up three times to stabilise it before I got back down below 120 or so, where it behaved.

Re: Eddie Honda's wheels of steel (and occasionally alloy)
Rewind to Monday and the sometimes-working, sometimes not Dondeal.ie app notifications teased me with this just after waking up...
Actually saw it first at 8 mins old and had a wee think about it first. Fuck it, it's a dealer, it's a trade-in, but it's CHEAP. Especially considering the rest of the tat for sale on DD. I gave Tel a bell.
A quick chat on the phone, dealer says he got it PX for a 2015 VFR1200 on Saturday. "I would like you to see it.", and reiterates "Trade sale". I say "I know the score". (JUST TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY!). Agree to bang it on the card at €1100. (~£960)
He does deliveries, but it might be a week or two before he's down this way. "Okay", I said, indicating that I may be over sooner when I work out the public transport shit, but the offers open at €100 if he brought it over..
€86 (including €45 admin) to add on to my CN policy until mid July. Has tax until next June.
Hang about, that's RONG. Fuck me, I forgot how old it was as I remember the bloody things when they were new. Should have been taxed VIN/VET at €26 pa. Because over 30 years old.
Except having looked it up, whilst there is an excuse out of the limited options to get the tax refund on the RF120 form, you can't because the amount is less than €119. Fucking scummy money-grabbing shitebags. Still, I'll have to pop down the council's Motor Tax office before next renewal to change the taxation class.
Yeah, no bother. Haven't tried yet, nor would know as first thing to fix would be speedo not working. Fuel gauge and warning light for that works though. I didn't take much past 4250rpm in top, whatever that translates to.
Ancient Oxford Hot Grips don't work and the cubby flap lid on the right is missing. Thankfully doesn't have any form of wanky brakes on it to go wrong.
Suspension is better than the RT, mainly because the RT suspension like everything else is fucked.

- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Nice buy.
I looked at a couple of these (virtual) but none as cheap as that.

I've only ever ridden one Pan 1100 and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

Is that because the cheap ones are down south?
