Eddie Honda's wheels of steel (and occasionally alloy)

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

JIZZ UPDATE

Wife has been gallivanting this morning. I jumped into the car 40 mins ago to pop down to the tooth quack and since parking it up last night it's racked up 34 miles.

So I missed the event. :x

Anyway, that's 321,882 kilometers on the clock now. Time for another service.

Car had only sat for an hour, so sensor behind bumper might have got a bit of engine heat. It was 13°C that day when I got moving later.

As RT2 doesn't have a centre stand on at the minute, it's a bit of cunt to do anything to it. Rather than get a wotsit with legs, I was looking at one of these with a future cunning plan in mind. I was going to order it a while back, but €30 off nudged me into clicking.

Plan is to attach it to a sheet of wood to keep everything upright. In the future* I may work out a way of mounting it to the Duuo Plus when the body is removed... Only concern with that is the bed height is a good bit higher than a normal bike trailer but should be okay for occasional shiftage of immobile single track vehicles.

Managed to get the first part done. Liftage to the railway station as you can only be a bus wanker every two hours.

Not knowing if I'd make this train meant getting bummed €13.20 instead of €7.65 because bought less than 60mins before departure.
