I thought Phil had gone to Cornwall....
Looks a bit like it.
But, you're not that likely to be eaten by sharks in Cornwall.
I think the undertow is as bad though.

Between the pier and the island in the distance is mostly 15-20' deep, but there's a 200' crevasse between the two...
Edit: there were no VW vans of any flavor at the campsite. There was an older Day Van with the ubiquitous plastic flared arches, in the lovely* metallic white and light gold color scheme they favored.

Maybe, but they are debating what to do with a fin whale that bled to death on Newquay beach yesterday.....Do they fire up the chain-saw like in Animal House? Or perhaps dynamite it, Oregon style?
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Type A transmission fluid calls out for whale oil. They cannot complain about one that died by itself on a beach...

ESP failure today, is this the first of many damp-related electrical faults or simply that the battery was a bit low?
I'm going for the battery as the ESP came on when the fans cut in to double quick time to demist the screen.
You had an extra sensory perception failure?
I thought you had to have esp to determine faults on those cars

Battery sounds likely with how little mileage you do.
