Where abouts? I was through Gloucester yesterday along the A38 and A430. The speed limits are confusing as hell. Rotating through 30mph and 40mph regularly. I also put my foot down to get around traffic and realised I was possibly was doing over 55 in a 40

One up as you come out of Reigate as well, it's where it should be a national speed limit but they have kept it at 40.

It's still hidden scamera vans around here.
My missus was recently caught doing 35 in a 30 limit going uphill, about 20 yards from getting to a 40 sign.
The bastard was tucked away in a side street and hidden from view unless you looked down the street just as you went past.
So that's another £90 towards their Xmas meal.

There's an absolute fucker round here on a bike. He'll set up for an hour and move on. Black bike, black leather with a few day glow bits on. He hides behind the bike and panniers to make himself as hard to see as possible and with the new kit it seems they can get you from quite some considerable distance. In one spot he actually hides behind a wall with the speed gun on a tripod, absolutely impossible to spot him until you actually drive by!
