Likely they'll end up with something like a CorollaDodgeRover wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 9:56 pm How about a V8 ute for them to run about in? At least then they won't have 6 of their mates in with them

Welded in a section of steel.

Created a springy warp, which is wonderful. I need to weld up the arch lip, which will hold it in place, it'll then need hammers and Bondo.Phil

Space ship!

Unfortunately the trim on the front isn't in as good shape as I hoped it would be.
Bodyshop Guy decided to attack it with a cheese grater then paint over it. I took the corner off, removed the paint and then smoothed the surface with a file, wet-n-dry paper and metal polish but the anodized finish is long gone. I need to find a way to protect that.Phil

Built it back up and started getting the adjustments right.
Running it to get set up meant it got a touch warm.
It's sitting cooling off now, with the battery charging.

A brief break from this car was good, allowed me to step back and focus.

Size eight and a long lever: front of the panel is now more or less the correct shape.Phil
