Folded the lower lip return. Now I need to fold the profile, but I ran out of daylight.

Re: 1966 Plymouth Fury 3
Thought it looked wrong. Went outside with the template to see why- lo and behold in a hurry I used the wrong datum point and measured the panel too short.
I'll slice a section out and extend it down, that'll work.

Re: 1966 Plymouth Fury 3
This afternoon after shopping was a bit cooler than it has been so I cut the repair panel off and beat the arch profile a bit better.
Phil
Arch itself was too straight and the lower return came at an angle which was wrong, now has a nice French curve to it.
Ignoring the triangular hole I need to fill in, that looks many times better.
Even looks good in 3/4 view so I'm happy with that.Phil

They may end up just getting driving experience in it; wife wants this one for herself now...DodgeRover wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 8:02 pm The kids will be too cool for school running around in that as their first motor.

How about a V8 ute for them to run about in? At least then they won't have 6 of their mates in with themPhilA wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 8:54 pmThey may end up just getting driving experience in it; wife wants this one for herself now...DodgeRover wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 8:02 pm The kids will be too cool for school running around in that as their first motor.
