I suppose that makes sense, well to me anyway....I prefer manual seat adjustment as it is often quicker and far more reliable. Having a couple of the adjustments powered such as rear lift also makes sense where the power assistance is more helpful. I used to love that the mirrors on my 190E were only powered on the side you couldn't reach. Driver adjustment was done with a good old through-the-door lever - again to me far easier to use and micro-adjust.

It'd appear so after that declaration of love for us all.

Ours was full electric even the headrest. The seat height button adjusted the backrest though and the backrest button just made an awful racket.AMCrebel wrote: ↑Mon Nov 13, 2023 11:17 pm There are some really obtuse aspects to mine - the seats are electric - but only for the rear height adjustment and the backrest angle - the front height and the forwards/backwards are done manually. If you wanted the full electric seat experience, that was extra.

I've owned just a few MB's.
First was a 190E I paid £500 for, sight unseen, in Birmingham, in the dark. No test drive, just handed over the money and drove home. Full factory fit AMG body kit and wheels, leather interior, air con, and electric roof. Even polished up well. Should never have sold it, two years of cheap, reliable motoring. Next was a W124 300e saloon. Was OK but because I didn't use it often, things stopped working. Plus the jacking points were getting crispy. Sold on to Bournite. Finally a C220 estate I paid £100 for off of the beige. The most interesting thing about it was the trip to collect it with delayed then cancelled trains. It ran well, but was so rotten it went off to a scrap place (for £200) after I realised my time was better spent elsewhere than on repairing this. Then I bought a Lexus LS 400. I had seen the light!

I couldn't quite work out if his flounce this time was mentally or menstrually related tbh. I seem to remember he popped his head up a while back very briefly and then vanished into the ether again after an outburst.

Aye that rings a bell with me too.Scruffy Bodger wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 2:40 pmI couldn't quite work out if his flounce this time was mentally or menstrually related tbh. I seem to remember he popped his head up a while back very briefly and then vanished into the ether again after an outburst.
I've no idea tbh. If I make it to a NPH I'll see what he's like, he's a decent bloke in person.

It could be that he's like a comet, a brief sighting every 3 years or so, the last flounce being Covid outrage if I remember correctly.

Yes he is an affable bloke.
I can also understand why someone may choose not to be reading/participating in this forum.

Indeed, it's not for everyone. I'm just a little surprised as he's got the right sense of humour in person.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2023 3:11 pmYes he is an affable bloke.
