You'll be telling me the swimming pool boiler needs a new thermocouple next.

There was a small swimming pool here but we've repurposed it, being about 100 yards from the beach it made little sense.

Yep.

When we bought it it was 2/3rds of the amount we got for our place in the Chilterns as it needed, and still does to some extent, a lot of work.

CO2 is also regulated per manufacture and limits for average CO2 across all sales. Unless under exempt production numbers.
Yes and what? You highlighted part of what I said.

Let's highlight the other bit.

So if I happened to have the following

Metro Windscreen
Metro Mk1 rear lights
Metro Headlights
Metro door handles
£100,000+

I would still end up with a car that could not be driven on the public highway ?

Hello Sponge, please mop up ALL of that joy just over there.

If that was the case how are they making those brand new Mk 1 and 2 Escort copies that you can have a full blown Millington Diamond engine in? There must be some sort of get out clause for limited production?

Same goes for the continuation E-Types I presume?

I believe they use a loophole to pretend Jag have just restarted the production line rather than being new* cars.

My first thought was I wonder how they have got a MK1 escort through BIVA and what they have had to change internally along with what emissions control they have had to use.
BIVA is supposed to be for individual vehicles not manufacturer built though. Maybe they are using some loophole for prototype vehicles to allocate a registration number?

And the Bentley Speed Six and Blower I think.

There's always the alternative route that Count Rossi took to register his road going 917, register it in a favourable country. In his case it was Alalbama but that might not be possible now with US rules.
