Electric vehicles, pros and cons. Have your say.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

A 'bargain' at £100k with a 87mph top speed.

You could get an exempt V8 for far, far less.

My boss has been having a debate with Tesla about returning his vehicle. Last week it suddenly switched off on the work car park. They now want him to have it recovered back to them……..he won’t. Apparently remote disabling is very easy on such vehicles.

Maybe but the one in that vid will do me. Lifting a front wheel mk2 Escort wise and the bloke driving seems to be enthralled with the experience.

I think an alloy head/ block version of the 6 found in the MGC would have been more in keeping with the grand tourer image

"DETROIT, Nov 3 (Reuters) - The board of Cruise, the robo-taxi company controlled by General Motors (GM.N), has hired an outside law firm and technology consultants in the aftermath of an accident that led it to suspend all driverless vehicle operations, Cruise said Friday"

"Federal and state safety regulators are investigating a series of accidents involving driverless Cruise vehicles. California regulators suspended the company's license to operate driverless vehicles last month, saying the self-driving vehicles were a risk to the public."

"The operation lost more than $700 million in the third quarter of this year as it has increased spending to expand operations to 15 U.S. cities."

I see that GM is continuing to be a great company.
