Good point - also applies to Mk2 Mondeo (Estate is the one I know about) - although as mentioned, they are usually re-routed.

Starter motor on a Lexus 400. Sits right in the V under all the intake manifold gubbins. Fortunate to know of a Lexus independent who knew a shortcut on how to do it.
My mate worked at a LandRover specialist, and through trial and error, they found many ways to do jobs that needed the body off, without taking the body off.
Honda Deauville. Struggled to get the front cylinder spark plug out, and then back in again. Tried to be clever by doing it without removing the side fairings, but it seems doing so is the quickest way.

Changing the spark plugs on the passenger side of the V on the Bentley turbo R is a bit of a chore as well but I suppose most people with them take them back to Crewe for jobs like that!

Talking of v engines,I once refused a job on a MK2 shogun V6 which needed a new coolant pipe. The metal one that ran through the block. Fuck that.

Having to remove the front wheel and arch liner to replace the fucking expensive headlamp bulb on the Ioniq was a piss take.
