This is exactly why I suggested WBAC. Gives a third party valuation that is realistic without risking getting moaned at for trying to get it too cheap from your employer.

There's a way it could work as well. Put a cheapo cherished plate on the 14 plate Insignia and then get the taxi plate changed accordingly. This means that a pre facelift Insignia wouldn't be seen non a 14 plate.
