The focus has all the toys bar cruise control which most 2.0 Ghia's have specced. This was a motability car though so may explain it. The astra is odd in that it's got leccy windows,remote locking and air con yet doesn't have abs.

On ya phone. I have some decent pc speakers, with sub, that I found* plugged in for decent sound quality.
