Re: Ford focus mk1
They should be paying as it's faulty parts, getting them to admit it is the problem.

I know. My mate who's my mechanic has sent them countless photos and evidence but they keep saying not their fault. I think they look at it as just another old car when it's not. It's maintained meticulously and is a low mileage clean motor.

I'm pissed as I've paid already for shocks to be done and they've been changed 3 fucking times. but looks like I'm going to have to pay out again if the manufacturer keeps fucking about. I'm guessing a faulty batch maybe but they won't admit it.
Don't deal with SAF, they pedal shite.
ECP or GSF only.

Eco and gsf don't list anything for the focus online. May end up ringing them. These shocks were from saf and the head office of supplier is in Kirkby

Errr.......
2004 Focus 1.8 fronts.
KYB are garbage, Starline might be OK, Sachs are the best you can buy.

Mine didn't show that for some reason. I wouldn't have thought being 2.0 would make a difference but maybe being an estate does.

Just had a look and it does show them Sachs branded ones but I haven't got 135 quid spare either.

How much does replacing them every two months cost though?
