It was a fully charged battery. It was just on setting two instead of three.

£360 for the van to be sorted. New calliper required, they fitted the discs and pads, refilled the cv boot and clipped it up again. They also found the source of the knocking. A broken nearside front spring. Another £330 and booked in to do on the 29th.
It's knocking worse now. I wonder if they moved the spring or something.

Total fuck on changing the brake light bulb on the van yesterday. Access panel with eight screws. Two bolts to undo the cluster then another eight screws to split it. Had to get my mtb out for the 4 mile trip to the carshop and back.
Total contrast to the headlights which are two screws and it pops out.

Just done 20 miles on the MounTainBike and ended up at Bedlington Wetherspoons. Still showing 60% on the battery. I reckon it's good for 50 miles if I went for it.
