Good thread. Unfortunately I shall not be travelling to Abroadshire for some considerable time but it is true to say I have more photos in my car and lorry albums of those places than the places themselves....

I can still remember the excitement of my first glimpse of The Netherlands as an 8 year old kid and seeing a Volvo 544 outside the airport.

The piece of shit Disco next to the Seat is my Dad’s , he thought it was a good idea to drive down from Brittany to the wedding then on to Estepona, in 45degree heat and no aircon. He’s just spent €5000 on getting it welded and back on the road, I’m taking him to Portsmouth tomorrow to get the ferry as a foot passenger so he can bring the heap back next week to drive to a pre-booked MoT in Milton Keynes to see if Le Garagiste’s welding is up to U.K. MOT standard.

Two of my brothers went to Mugello last weekend on their bikes , the weather was so shit in Italy they’ve gone to the South of France via Switzerland . They sent these yesterday.
