WReXless now chirpy cheap Jeep, Nein11 & Ghia
Collecting a new to me today.
Sold my daily after a slight argument with an 82 year old hit me in a car park. I had the idea of getting a fancy Aldi, but couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger on such a big loan for an old car.
So found myself driving the cheapest rental I could find on the inter web. All good at $18 a day until we had 8” of snow... and it was stuck in my work car park due to rwd, anti skid thingie that I couldn’t turn off and summer tires.
A friend of a friend has a car that’s surplus to requirements and another friend with snow tires which might see me through the winter.
Generic Aldi sugar puffs and flask of tea and I’m off to get some $$$ from the bank. Which in itself could be a challenge as most are closed due to Covid...

Re: Pickup
Mine-snowta in the US of A!
Quick nod to the guard watching Mrs Bs car for me. He’s animatronic motion sensor activated so would give anyone breaking in to the garage the shock of their life! Thankfully the roads are clear today so Mrs Bs SUV will get me to the bank!

Re: Pickup
Any older kids out there might know this place... fallen on ‘rocky’ times now.
Mound where I live is the city where they used to make all of the Tonka toys - named because of the mosquito hole... sorry beautiful lake that the city is on ‘Lake Minnetonka ‘

Re: Pickup
Well it’s not ‘Merican and should see me through the winter (hopefully)
Know for dodgy head gaskets of which this has two...
Please send me some of that heat. Witch’s nipples here today.
The local drive in turns into a pumpkin patch and Christmas tree place once the snow arrives.
