Well work is slack, I saw a Bosal back box for 125 quid and so far it's cost a few pence in electric, all the other stuff is free as been paid for or been given it. The other ones I saw didn't look like the one I need. So at 20 quid an hour I've still got plenty to spare.

Normal service has been resumed. A straight pipe was suggested by my mate who's into boosted dervs, I've made a few in the past. I popped in to a local garage to see if they had any quality used spares, nope. So the donut bit got trimmed and cleaned up and I rolled a strip round a tin I grabbed out the recycle bin. Made myself a puller too while the kit was out from an old poker I found in the shed.

I took a bit of a guess putting the bracket back on and got it wrong, it's rubbing slightly, sometimes but not all ffs. Lying on your back under an old car on a busy high street already sets me up as the local weirdo so I didn't want to be out there fucking with it multiple times, it'll do for now.
