Mine displayed 145mph once, was weaving like a bastard though & got worse as I tried to slow down. I had to open up three times to stabilise it before I got back down below 120 or so, where it behaved.

I've only ever ridden one Pan 1100 and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

I am easily pleased though.

The next bike I went to look at was up at 1295...
...Some hard haggling later and I had a Pan in the van for 850 with a year of MOT.

I'm going to have to master the quick walk away from the bike if I'm out and about though

I had a bit of a squeeze getting it down the side of the house last night. The RT is 900mm across the mirrors, but this lard-bucket is wider at (I think) 945. Had to put the OS mirror housing back on as I clipped the 306 passing it. Will have to see if I can move the Pug another inch over, but it's tight as already.

I was about to post 'get the wind deflector kit if it's not got it' but rechecking the pics it has. Those little bits on top of the mirrors really do keep the wind off your hands well.

Dunoon is miles away though. I once bought a Volvo 480 in Dunoon. The alternator packed up on the way home. Had to stop every few miles and charge it off my dad's car with jump leads.

Aye, Dunoon IS miles away, although I've been two or three times.

I did my Civ Eng surveying field course just outside Dunoon as Lothian Regional Council had an outdoor centre there. Spent every night in the pub afterwards as we stuck a boot to keep the drying room door open so we could get ourselves back into the place after having a lock-in until silly o'clock.

When I was despatch riding in Glasgow, I had to go there with some legal paperwork with customer instructions to go via Gourock for the boat. Came back round the long way as I was heading home to H'burgh.

It's a wee bit wider / longer than the RT, so I had to start the 306 up and move it a wee bit further over so I can get it down between it and the house.
