Re: Hello

Hello there. In reference to this being like a pub,I'm the onslow lookalike just with more of a limp. Found in the beer garden shouting at pigeons.

That's my thoughts with a horse box trailer.

Re: The great minds brainstorming session.

Next month is the ideal time for buying a horse trailer as the season is almost over. Top spec Freelander 1 petrol's are currently priced at an all time low, surprisingly economical as well, although no auto available unless its the V6. I'd have a diesel but I'm also in the realms then of Caz ...

Re: The great minds brainstorming session.

Freelander cost £700 in 2017, the trailer £900 in 2018, although at the time it was a steal. The lightest single horse trailer available back then, advantages maximum payload and as it was the same width as the Freelander, no mirror extensions needed and very easy to reverse without an assistant if ...

Re: The great minds brainstorming session.

I would also like to state I'm not looking to change the car yet. I hate to admit it because I don't like modern Renaults but this does everything my requirements ask for except being auto. It's also damn comfy and smooth. Does need the six speed box though as it's in excess of 3k at 70mph. The ...

Cheaper, easier to modify and I have a solid flatbed in good nick already. I'm probably wrong though with this idea.

Re: The great minds brainstorming session.

No they aren't. I'm always looking for a Luton body or a ropey horse box though.
I think a Luton box trailer would be a bit too unwieldy though. A modified 'oss box would be better.

Re: The great minds brainstorming session.

I keep arcing back to either a freelander or a vivaro/traffic/primastar for some reason. I'm more inclined towards the van as it would allow progression of the business. Again though if I could find a cheap box trailer or Luton body to mate with my flatbed I wouldn't be as much in need of a van but ...

If its good enough for a Prime Minister then its good enough for You! Toyota Previa (just to jog your memory, not a recommendation as it has been owned by the shit in the hedg e brigade) https://www.motors.co.uk/car-71515031/?i=0&m=sr Or a Toyota Picnic if you want slightly smaller. Re: The great minds brainstorming session.

The 4007 / Mitsubishi outlander is ok but DPF and all the other modern shite. They also rust like fuck as they are Mitsubishi's. The 2.2 is the best lump but that isn't saying much. Petrols are very rare and I think it was only the Citroen version that had a petrol version. The Mitsubishi version ...
