On the same lines I strongly suspect that ICE cars are subsidising EV production costs and they are consequently more expensive than they would be if EVs didn't exist.

The EU Parliament is just a talking shop in my opinion.

It just has a budget for its own, massive, running costs and soon will be rendered impotent by 'Qatargate'. It can issue as many 'rules' as it wants but the money has to come from somewhere and the pot is empty.

Small update. I've paid for the gearshift parts so they can be ordered. Awaiting the call off the dealer today to confirm when they should arrive. It's 7-10days If they are in stock at the warehouse.
