Did the Italian motorcycle manufacturers buy a job lot of Lada headlights at some point?
Some lovely styling spoiled by ugly headlights, Ducati were the same.

I hadn't owned a diesel, until I bought a shit heap Merc T1 van out of work necessity. It was okay until you got to the hill at Stokenchurch on the M40 when it's 70hp engine snailed it up the hill. Had real man's steering too.

I managed to avoid them in the cars for a bit longer until I just had to ...

Not a lot in the grand scheme of things

Engines
In-line: 1, 2, 4, 6 petrol plus 4 in farmers' juice.
V: 2,4 petrol.
Flat: 2, 4 all air-cooled.

Petrol 2 and 4 stroke and only 4 were oooharrrgh powered.

Drive: Right wheel drive and wrong wheel drive.

Front and rear engined.

Wheels: 2,3 & 4 ...
